There are moments when she suddenly gets quiet — alert, still, thoughtful — as if she’s decided barking isn’t necessary anymore. She watches everything closely, analyzing the world in complete silence.
It’s fascinating how expressive she can be without making a sound. Her eyes, her ears, her posture — they all speak louder than noise ever could.
And even though I joke that she “will never bark again,” I know she’s just saving her voice for when it really counts.
