She steps into the water with that cautious Doberman curiosity, testing the surface before committing — and then she’s fully in, gliding with surprising grace. Her paws kick steadily, her head stays high, and suddenly she’s completely in her element.
I love watching her swim alongside me, matching my pace, keeping close like she’s both guarding me and enjoying the moment. There’s a calmness that washes over her, a different kind of energy than on land.
Swimming with her has become one of my favorite ways to spend time — peaceful, fun, and always full of bonding. She’s strong, confident, and somehow even more elegant in the water.
