I spent way too long perfecting her Halloween costume, only for her to give me that look — pure judgment and mild betrayal. The costume might be cute, but her pride says otherwise.
Still, she humors me for a few photos, standing tall and regal even in a silly outfit. That’s her magic — grace, even when she’s not amused.
Underneath that unimpressed stare is love. She may not enjoy dress-up, but she tolerates it because she knows it makes me laugh. That’s loyalty in its funniest form.
