The first time the sprinklers came on, Nyx froze, ears back, eyes wide, and then bolted like the ground had betrayed her. It was one of those moments that had us laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe.
She circled back cautiously, barking at the water like it was some strange new enemy. You could tell she was torn between curiosity and complete disbelief that the yard had suddenly started spraying her.
Eventually, she retreated to higher ground with a look that said, “Never again.” It was hilarious and adorable — proof that even brave Dobermans have their quirky fears.
