Nyx has many moods — calm and watchful, playful and bouncy, cuddly and quiet. But then there’s her “dramatic diva” side. That’s the one where she decides the world needs to hear her opinion, loud and clear.
It could be the UPS truck driving by, a bird daring to land in her yard, or me taking too long to hand over her treat. When she “screams,” it’s not just a bark — it’s an entire monologue. Ears up, eyes wide, tail alert… she puts her whole soul into it.
Some people might see it as noisy, but I see it as her personality shining through. She’s expressive, passionate, and not afraid to be heard. In a way, it’s one more reason I love her — because whether she’s quiet or screaming, she’s always unapologetically Nyx.
