Watching her run with the neighbor’s dogs is like seeing her entire personality open up at once. She starts with those playful hops, tail wagging, eyes sparkling with excitement as she invites everyone to join in.
Soon they’re all racing around the yard, chasing shadows, swapping roles between leader and follower, and creating their own joyful chaos. She moves with such confidence and grace, yet she’s gentle enough to let the smaller dogs win sometimes.
And when they finally collapse into the grass, tongues out and happy, she glances at me with that proud, satisfied look — like she just hosted the best playdate ever.
