How long should Doberman puppies sleep?

Doberman puppies grow fast, and sleep is the secret behind those big leaps in size and energy. In fact, most puppies need 18–20 hours of sleep a day! That may sound like a lot, but their growing bodies and developing brains need the downtime.

Nyx is no exception. When she’s not busy zooming around the house or learning new tricks, you’ll find her in a full-on puppy coma, legs twitching as she dreams of adventures. Those naps help her stay healthy, balanced, and ready to take on the world.

It’s tempting to wake your puppy when they look so cute, but resist! A well-rested Doberman puppy is a happy, focused, and better-behaved dog.

So if your pup spends more time snoozing than playing, don’t worry. Sleep is their superpower.
