Her first time in the pool!

Nyx’s first time in the pool was unforgettable. At first, she was cautious — dipping her paws in, tilting her head, unsure if this strange blue space was friend or foe. But curiosity always wins with her, and before long she was wading in, her sleek coat glistening in the sunlight.

Once she realized it wasn’t so scary, everything changed. She paddled with determination, splashing and snorting in surprise at the water’s resistance. We cheered her on, laughing at her little water kicks, and her confidence grew with every lap. She may not have been the most graceful swimmer that day, but she sure was the happiest.

Watching her climb out, shake off, and then immediately leap back in was pure joy. That moment marked the beginning of a new adventure for her — a world of summer swims, poolside play, and refreshing dips on hot days. Seeing her discover something new reminded us just how fun life is when experienced through her eyes.
