There’s something hilarious about watching a tiny baby and a big Doberman size each other up. She approaches slowly, ears forward, moving with that gentle caution she only uses around the very small and very fragile.
The baby reaches out, grabs her ear or nose, and she just sits there patiently, as if she understands it’s all part of the experience. Sometimes she looks at me like, “Is this allowed?” but she never moves away.
