Every dog has their quirk — and for Nyx, it’s that one ear. The left one. The rebellious one.
While her right ear stands tall and alert like the proud Doberman she is, the left? It’s chill. It flops. It’s got personality, and it’s not afraid to show it.
We’ve tried everything — brushing, head tilts, even softly encouraging pep talks (“Come on, little ear, stand up!”). But nope. That ear is living its best life, on its own terms.
It flops when she’s happy. It flips when she’s excited. And sometimes it sticks sideways like she’s permanently questioning our life choices. It’s basically a mood.
And you know what? We love it. Because that one floppy ear says, “I’m not just a Doberman — I’m your Doberman. A little goofy, a lot loyal, and totally one of a kind.”
