Holidays feel warm and exciting, and she always sits nearby hoping for a taste — those big eyes watching every plate like she understands it’s a special day. But even with all that cuteness, some things just aren’t good for her little tummy. She leans in, sniffs the air, and acts like she deserves her own seat at the table.
That’s the hardest part — saying no when she looks so hopeful. She doesn’t realize that turkey bones, stuffing, seasoned dishes, and sweet treats can make her sick. She just trusts us completely, knowing we’ll do what’s best for her even when she doesn’t understand why.
And afterward, when she gets her safe little dog-friendly meal and curls up beside us, she’s perfectly content. She doesn’t need all the fancy foods — she just wants to be part of the moment, loved, included, and close.
